"I was born an engineer"!

Markus Lüthen - Founder & Dipl.-Ing. (FH)

Even as a child, everything for me revolved around cars, engines, and technology – for me, it was more than a hobby, it was (and is) my world.
At 15, I began my apprenticeship as a car mechanic, and at 16, I bought my first car (an American car), which I completely restored over two years after work – including many self-made parts.
After the apprenticeship, I got my technical baccalaureate to study vehicle construction. Because my greatest passion to this day is creating vehicle parts myself.

More about me

Since 2018

Owner - Engineering Office "Worldwide Engineering"

Design, construction, development and production of components and products of any kind.
Information can be found on this website.
2015 - 2025

Owner - Luethen Motorsport GmbH

Luethen Motorsport GmbH was a globally active refiner and tuner. It designed, developed, and distributed light alloy wheels, aerodynamic parts, suspension systems, and performance enhancements with German road approval.
Especially the forged wheels and the carbon aerodynamic components enjoyed worldwide popularity and were delivered to New Zealand, Australia, Africa, Asia, and the USA.
2012 - 2015

Development Engineer - Carlsson & Kelleners Sport

In both companies, Markus Lüthen simultaneously worked as a designer, developer, and component manager for wheels and body parts.
Tasks included design finding, construction, holistic development, supplier selection and support, obtaining road approval, and quality management.
2010 - 2012

Development Engineer - AVL Schrick

Activity as Resident Engineer at GM-Powertrain-Europe GmbH as design and development engineer in the field of engine development.
2006 - 2010

Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts

  • Study of Vehicle Engineering, specialization in Vehicle Construction - Degree Dipl.-Ing. (FH) overall grade 1.8
  • Student side job as a supervisor of an engine test bench including measurement technology for SCR systems
  • Thesis on SCR systems
  • Internship at AVL-Schrick in engine design.
  • Diploma thesis at AVL-Schrick on the development and design of centrifugal compressors for exhaust gas turbochargers
2000 - 2004

Our projects are always subject to confidentiality, which is why we are not allowed to show many impressive things. Therefore, here you will find an excerpt of the projects we developed for our own brand LUETHEN Motorsport. (Brand and assets were sold in 2025)

AMG GT-RR

For the AMG-GT, a carbon aerodynamics package and two forged wheel designs including road approval were developed.
The aerodynamics package consisted of a front splitter, front bumper attachments, side skirts, rear diffuser, and an adjustable rear wing.
Most parts were designed as replacement parts, which was largely responsible for the great success of the products.

EDITION-1 FlowForged

With the EDITION-1 FlowForged, a very widely applicable FlowForming rim was developed. Application list, procurement of brake contours, design, construction, supplier selection, approval and quality assurance were of course all handled by us.
The EDITION-1 FlowForged was available in 8.5 / 9.5 / 10.5x20 and was produced from only two molds, as the 9.5 and 10.5x20 were only rolled out to different extents and thus produced from one mold.

Huracan LSR

The LSR aerodynamics package for the Lamborghini Huracan included a front splitter, canard spoilers, side splitters, and an adjustable rear wing.
Three different aluminum feet were available for the rear wing, allowing the wing's height to be adjusted to personal preferences.
Of course, this aerodynamics package also came with a parts certificate.
